All preliminary rounds are BO1 and SINGLE elimination. 8/16 players will be seeded, double elimination will start when there are 8/16 players left from the prelim rounds. ( 8+8=16/16+16=32 players left when double elimination starts). General rules:1. The player that is shown HIGHEST in the brackets makes the game. i.e.: player1 VS player2 Player 1 makes the game. 2. It is both players responsibility to read and understand these rules, completely. 3. BOTH players must record AND save replay! 4. It is the players responsibility to check that he/she has all the latest patches etc. AT LEAST half an hour before his/her game starts. If you find that you do not have have these right before the game starts this is NOT an excuse to postpone a game and you will loose on walkover. 5. The winner of each game MUST remember to go to www.partyticket.net and write the scores down, and the loser must confirm this on partyticket. When all the maps have been played, we will start from the top again. The players can choose a different map if they both agree on this. Any refusal to play the listed map above can result in disqualification from the competition. A1. Finals and Semi finals
All semi/finals will be played in BO3, the first map will be chosen as explained here: From the map list above, the players will choose to discard 3 maps each until 1 map resides, this map will be played first. Whoever is seeded lowest will start to choose map. The second game map will be chosen by the looser of game1, and the third game will be chosen by the looser of game2. Note! The same map can not be played two times in the same BO3. B. Abuse and cheating.
All "abuse" of features that are a part of the game is allowed. All matters of cheating/hacking is NOT allowed and if there is displayed replay evidence of this, the guilty person will get kicked from all compos he/she is participating in. C. Info about all the rounds.
C1. Preliminary rounds.
In the preliminary round the players have to be ready AT LEAST 15 minutes before the game is scheduled to start. If one of the players has not showed up within 10 minutes after the game is scheduled he will lose on walkover. The winner must then report this on partyticket.net If you are having difficulties with power/network before you game is about to start you have to tell this to the game crew right away, and then get someone from tech to help you with this. C2. Finals and Semi-finals
If a player feels sick he HAS TO talk to one from the game crew before he can leave. If this happens the game crew will decide how to deal with the problem and the judgement is not negotiable. The finals from the looser brackets and winner brackets will be played on the official server computers in the game-area. You can bring your own keyboard, mouse and headphones but nothing else. D. Disconnect
If a player disconnects in the first 1-5 minutes of a preliminary game caused by cause of the network going down on his/her row or the power goes out, the game will automatically be a rematch, come and talk to the game crew immediately if this occurs. If a player disconnect in the middle/end of a game of a preliminary round caused by the network going down or the power goes out, he/she has to talk to the game crew and we will decide how to deal with it. The decision is final and non-negotiable. E. Various rules
Late pick of races is completely legal, if the other player leaves the game because of this he/she looses the game. If both players agree on choosing random race and one of them does not do this, it is NO EXCUSE to leave the game and the person not complying will lose the game/round. If your mouse/keyboard stops working, put the game on PAUSE immediately (on keyboard: f10 -> p, on mouse: options -> pause game) Please note that this information/page might recieve updates up to and during the party, make sure you are updated.
